Most of paternal family still in Belfast, mum and dad emigratd to UK in the sixties and/or seventies. Francey is such an interesting surname, the only non-Irish family I have ever come across bearing this name were Austrian, and it probably derived from the fact that they were French speaking Austrians (Francais, ie...Francey)...there is also mentioned that the Irish lot of us were descended from the hugunots.
